Yesterday, Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin was selected to lead the Democratic Governors Association. Shumlin was recently re-elected to a second two-year term as governor of his state. Primaries take place today in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, and Vermont along with a primary runoff in Oklahoma. The biggest races of the evening are both in Florida — the Democratic primary for Senate and the Republican primary for Governor.
