Traditionally in America voters have been upset with Congress in general but like their own member of Congress. With support for Congress hovering at historic laws even this has started to change. According to Gallup only 46 percent think their own member of Congress deserves re-election, a new record low. From Gallup:
Unfortunately, the system is so rigged it is unlikely even this historic level of disappointment will actual cause much of a change in the make up of Congress. The number of truly competitive districts in the House has shrunken to only a few dozen and there is no wave of momentum for either party at this moment. Things are looking worse for incumbents but 90 percent of them still have nothing to worry about.
This biggest beneficiary of this disappointment with Washington is probably going to be a handful of primary challengers.
