I’m predicting the Democrats will only just retain control of the House but retain control of the Senate by 4 seats. The prediction that I’ve made based only on optimism is that prop 19 will pass. Again barely.

The timer function for “edit before expiration” is still mega-fast for me as I am on a slower “consumer market” level connection a couple of orders up from snail-dial (I expect most of us have this situation). The time-out multiple by a factor of 4 would be more comfy.

I never lost the edit link but the 0.5 nanosecond edit time wasn’t enough for an old hippie.

Respectfully disagree. We should be in the streets…and in our spare time we should be stockpiling food, fuel, medicine, batteries, seeds, and ammunition, as well as learning some household and field chemistry, first aid, and how to generate our own electricity.
I know how that sounds, but none of that could ever be called wasteful. YMMV.
